Obituary
Aaron Patrick Harris, 18, formerly of Hot Springs, SD, passed away May 8, 2012, at his home in Sioux Falls, SD.
Aaron was born July 26, 1993, in Hot Springs, South Dakota.
In spite of birth diagnosis of extreme cerebral palsy, Aaron lived life to the fullest. Friends surrounded him on a daily basis to enjoy his laughter, love of sport, and joy of living. Aaron taught us many valuable lessons about the beauty in our lives.
Survivors include his mother and father, Shelly and Robert Courtney of Sioux Falls; sisters, Amber (Derek) Allen of Minot, ND; Teryn Courtney of Marshall, MN; grandparents, Francis and Carol Nelson of Hot Springs as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Aaron is preceded in death by his cousin, Leslie Harris.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 10, 2012, at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 11, 2012, at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs with Rev. Morris Nelson officiating. Committal services will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Hot Springs.
A memorial has been established in Aaron's name and may be sent to Shelly Courtney, 4207 Southwest, Apt. 3, Sioux Falls, SD 57105.
