Agnes B. Halls Marty, age 85, of Hot Springs, died November 29, 2006 at Greater Fall River Hospital in Hot Springs, SD.

Agnes was born May 18, 1921 in Murdo, SD to Charles E. and Anna (Bork) Bunderman. She was raised in the Murdo area on the Homestead established by her parents. She went to school in Reliance along with her three brothers, Roy, Pat and Ed. After graduating from Reliance High School she went to secretarial school, moved to Hot Springs and worked for Dr. Geyerman.

Agnes met and married Clarence E. Halls in 1941. To this union four children were born, Clarence "Sonny", Gary, Duane "Mike" and Barbara. She was a homemaker and babysat for many Hot Springs families. She was known for her donuts, wedding cakes and her loving nature.

She married John A. Graf in February 1975. He passed away in 1978. She worked for many years at the Fall River County Court House in the Auditors Office. She also worked for the City of Hot Springs as a clerk.

She married John A. Marty in July of 1980. While married they traveled and enjoyed each others company until his passing in November 1989. She was a member of the Bethesda Lutheran Church, VFW Auxiliary and held many offices. She was also a member of the DAV Auxiliary, American Legion and Minnekahta Ladies Club.

She loved to do crafts and many a person has a piece of her handiworks. She loved flowers and took great enjoyment in starting and sharing her new plants.

Privileged to share in her loving life are her family including her sons, Clarence "Sonny" (Kandice) Halls of Hot Springs, SD; Duane "Mike" (Debbie) Halls of Buffalo Gap, SD; daughter, Barbara Lee (Patrick) Lawrence of Peoria, AZ; brother, Ed Bunderman of St. Maries, ID; five grandchildren; Shelley Johnson of Cheyenne, WY; Michelle (Mike) Kessel of Bowdle, SD; Cheri Reitmeier of Grandforks, ND; Shane (Kelli) Halls of Rapid City, SD; Chad (Cyndi) Halls of Hot Springs, SD; three great granddaughters, Rachel Kessel of Bowdle, SD; Cassidy Halls of Rapid City, SD; Emily Halls of Rapid City, SD and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her two spouses; her parents; two brothers and son, Gary.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Friday, December 1, 2006 at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs, SD.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 2, 2006 at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs, SD with Pastor Jake Jacobson officiating. Private family interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Hot Springs Fire Department in Hot Springs.
