Alice H. Doody, age 84 of Custer, SD passed away November 11, 2008 at the Custer Regional Senior Care in Custer. Alice was surrounded by her family and friends as she left us on her journey home.

Alice was born February 18, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to Albert and Irene (Preusner) Leinen .

Alice is survived by her daughters, Sandy(Charles) Arseneault of Custer; Helen(Rod) Seastream of Humble, TX; her cherished grandchildren Scott, Andrew ,Shelley, Courtney and Lindsey a long with eleven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her nieces and nephew, Irene Prewitt; Joan Krumpack and Joe Krumpack.

Alice was preceded in her death by her loving husband of 35 years Thomas A. Doody Jr. in 1982; her parents; sister, Katherine Krumpack; brother, Albert C Leinen; infant twin sister, Marion and infant grandson, Elija Thomas Arseneault

Wake will be held 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2008 at St. John's Catholic Church in Custer.

Mass of Christian burial will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 14, 2008 at St. John's Catholic Church in Custer.

Graveside service and interment will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2008 at Ascension Cemetery & Mausoleums in Libertyville, IL.

A memorial has been established in Alice's name
