Alice Komar, age 90, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away on September 7, 2014, at the Fall River Hospital in Hot Springs.
Alice was born September 3, 1924, in Durham County, England, to Ernest and Ellen Morrin. She graduated from high school in England. Alice married Leo Komar and after raising her children, Alice worked for over thirty years as a C.N.A., often working with hospice patients.
Alice loved to travel and made numerous trips to England, where she was born. She traveled almost all around the world visiting many different countries. Alice also enjoyed cooking and baking as well as participating in the different organizations she belonged to. She was a member of the Eastern Star, White Shrine, Amaranth, a dame in the Order of St. John Leader of the Candy Stripers as well as a very active in the Masonic organizations.
Alice is survived by her daughters, Maria Wilson of Hot Springs; Barbara (Jerry) Cornwell of Denver, CO; four grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 13, 2014, at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs.
