Allen Donald Annis, 80, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away January 8, 2020, at the VA Medical Center in Hot Springs, SD.

Allen was born July 2, 1939, in Custer, SD, to Glen and Ruth (Korthus) Annis.   He proudly served in the U.S. Navy until his honorable discharge in 1961.  After a long career as an attorney in Southern California, Allen retired and returned to the Black Hills with the love of his life, Jeanette (Cherpeski) Annis.

Allen is survived by his son, Barry of California; step son, Trevor Yehle of Hot Springs; step daughter, Cherish (Mike) Baker of Custer; brother, Dale Annis of California and sister, Elaine Morgan of California.

Predeceasing Allen was his wife, Jeanette in 2008.
