Allen Chesley Dickerson, age 84, of Greeley, CO, passed away on March 5, 2016, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.

Allen was born on October 13, 1931, to Chesley A. and Stella Vesta (Miller) Dickerson in Nezperce, ID. He served in the United States Air Force from 1950, until his honorable discharge in 1964.

Allen is survived by his sons, Allen (Anne) Dickerson of Windsor, CO; Robert (Diane) Dickerson of Loveland, CO; daughters, Sheryl Dykman of Greeley, CO; Alice Cheney of Ault, CO; Mary (Mark) Melzo of Pierce, CO; brother, Charles Dickerson; sisters, Mary Hammersmith of CA; Theresa Cain of WA; fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Dickerson.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 12, 2016, at St. James Catholic Church in Edgemont, SD, wake services will be held one hour prior to services with Fr. Kerry Prendiville as Celebrant. Committal services will follow at the Edgemont Cemetery with Military Honors.
