Arlene Faye Thomas, 87, was born in Chama, ND, and left her earthly family on August 7, 2024, in Hot Springs, SD.

She was a caring and generous wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Throughout her life, she volunteered in lead positions in PTA, Beta Sigma Phi, her churches, Johnson Siding BOD, and Kiwanis. She had a servant's heart. She lived in Rapid City for 50 years before moving to Hot Springs to be closer to her family.

She leaves behind two children, daughter, Patricia and husband, Lawrence Thomas, son, James Wilhelm and wife, Doris, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sister, Reita Moore, and brother, Ronald Thoemke.

Predeceasing her in death were her husband, Casey Thomas, parents Paul and Alma Thoemke, and sister Lorraine. She will be laid to rest in Beach, ND with a private family celebration of her life.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs, SD.
