Obituary
Arthur Benjiman 'Art' Cheadle, age 95, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away May 11, 2013, at the Michael J. Fitzmaurice State Veterans Home in Hot Springs.
Art was born March 8, 1918, in Odessa, MN, to Benjiman H. and Milly (Horneman) Cheadle. He proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII from 1942 until his honorable discharge in 1948.
Art is survived by his sons, Rocky (Melodina) Cheadle of the Philippines; Rusty Cheadle of Collinsville, OK; daughters, Rose (Jim) Bacon of Baker City, OR; Rita (Tom) Murphy of Salem, OR; brother, Ray Cheadle of Minnesota as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Committal services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
