A.W. 'Slim' Hendrickson, 80, of Custer, SD, died May 10, 2007 at the Michael J. Fitzmaurcie State Veterans Home in Hot Springs, SD.

Slim proudly served in the United States Navy in WWII.

Slim is survived by his daughter, Jacki (Jim) Wahle of Wright, WY; two brothers, Robert (Barb) Hendrickson of Custer, SD; Roy (Mary) Hendrickson of Custer, SD; six sisters, Evelyn (Art) Fisher of Phoenix, AZ; Delores Lewis of Phoenix, AZ; Leola (Johnny) Thomsen of Phoenix, AZ; Joyce (Gene) Phillips of Hot Springs, SD; Eloise Pepin of Custer, SD; Derelle Wynia of Hot Springs, SD; two grandchildren, Tara Wahle and Erin (James) Holloway and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at the Custer Community Church in Custer, SD with Pastor Martin Nussbaum officiating.
