Barb Roberts, age 67, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, was suddenly called home, to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Sunday, April 7, 2024. Services will held be Friday, April 12, 2024 at Southern Hills Evangelical Free Church in Hot Springs, SD. A visitation hour will be held at 9 a.m. with a funeral service at 10 a.m.

Barb was born November 29, 1956. She was the fourth child of John and MaryEllen Borden of Pocatello, ID. Barb moved with her family to Minnesota when she was two. Barb accepted Jesus as her savior in her late teens. After graduating from high school, Barb completed a course to become a legal secretary.

Barb met Bruce Roberts when she was 22. They married on June 14, 1980. They had five children together. Barb was a faithful and loving wife and mother. She enjoyed reading, spending time with family, baking, and knitting. Barb served as a Sunday school teacher for many years.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents: John and MaryEllen Borden, her sisters: Roberta Borden and Carol Heddle, and her son, Daniel Roberts. Barb is survived by her husband, Bruce Roberts, her children: Alissa (Josh) Dedic, Audrey (Matt) Hines, Luke (Liz) Roberts, and Cole Roberts, her brothers: Todd Borden and Paul Borden, her niece Cyndie Brown, her nephew Geoffery Heddle, and her five grandchildren: Lilyann, Alistair, Evelyn, Aelwyn, and Andrew.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 12, 2024, at Southern Hills Evangelical Free Church in Hot Springs, SD with committal services following at Evergreen Cemetery in Hot Springs, SD.
