Obituary
Betty J. Gould, 80, of Custer, SD died January 12, 2007 at the Custer Regional Hospital in Custer.
Betty was very involved in and loved her Custer Community. She was active in the Custer Senior Center, Custer Historical Society, Cold Springs Historical Society, Custer Humane Society, The Red Hat Society, South Dakota State Abstractor Board and numerous other organizations and activities.
Betty is survived by her nieces, Rosie Colla and Phyllis Perry; nephew, Philip Marchino; cousins, Clara Thompson of Custer, SD; Paddy Everett of Custer, SD; numerous cousins, great nieces, great nephews as well as many dear friends.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral services, which will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at the Custer Community Church with Pastor Martin Nussbaum and Pastor Matt Furse officiating. Interment will follow at the Cold Spring Cemetery in Custer County.
A memorial has been established in Betty's name to benefit the Custer Regional Hospital Building Fund, the Custer Humane Society or the Bible Believer's Baptist Church.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Custer. Written condolences may be made at www.mccolleyschapels.com.
