Betty Jo Hadden Graf Hall passed away Saturday, August 25, 2007, in Hot Springs, after 76 years of love and laughter.

On April 30, 1931, Betty Jo was born in Nemo, South Dakota, to Charles and Dorothy Hadden. She attended school in Nemo with her sister, Lorry Lou, and graduated from Deadwood High School. She met her husband, Don Graf while working at Alarry's Soda Fountain.

Foremost in Betty Jo's life was her family. The Graf house in Hot Springs was filled with the sounds of five busy children who filled their parent's schedule with numerous activities. When not with the children, Betty Jo enjoyed reading, dancing, bowling and bingo. She also managed to work during this time at JC Penney and Jack and Jill Grocery store where she knew every customer in town. After her retirement, Betty Jo worked in the Hot Springs School District as a substitute teacher. Following the death of Don in November of 1975, she continued to provide a secure home for her children.

In 1982, Betty Jo married Forest Hall. They enjoyed years of dancing, golfing and traveling. She was a member of the American Legion, The VFW Auxiliary, the Red Hat Society, and Bethesda Lutheran Church.

Betty Jo was preceded in death by her first husband, Don Graf; parents, Charles Hadden and Dorothy Turnbull; step father, Lee Turnbull and her loving sister, Lorry Lou Millett.

She is survived by her husband, Forest Hall of Hot Springs; her five children, Dawn Misty (Emil) Tutsch, Jeff Graf, Darcy (Mike) Closner, Kim (Bryan) Hansen, Kirk Graf all of WA. and her loving brother, David Lee Turnbull of KS. She was also adored by her grandchildren, Jacqueline, Rachel, Brittany, Kimberly, Brandon, Bethany, Josalyn, Madalyn, McKenzie; great grandchildren, Ricky and Hannah; numerous nieces and nephews; three step-sons, Randy, Forest and Carl. She was also greatly loved by her step- grandchildren. We love you Mom, and you will always be in our hearts.
