Obituary for Betty Peplinski

Betty Peplinski, 91, passed away in her home at Lone Elk Ranch in Pringle, South Dakota, on April 5, 2024. She was memorialized at a private family service.

Betty was born on March 26, 1933, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, to Leonard and Jeanette (Loonstra) Romanski. She married Robert H. Peplinski on August 29, 1959. Together they raised a son and a daughter, Bob and Beth. The family moved to Sioux Falls, SD, in 1982, where Betty worked for the South Dakota Department of Tourism. An avid crafter, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cross-stitch, and more. Betty loved all animals, especially her girls and 'deer' friends.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert H. Peplinski, her son Robert F. Peplinski (wife, Laurie), her daughter Beth (Peplinski) Nelson (husband, Andrew), five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two of five sisters, Marge (Romanski) Hamm and Sally (Romanski) Cook. Happy Trails, Betty.
