Bonita F. 'Bonnie' Goodsell Barr, age 51, of Hill City, SD, passed away September 21, 2009, at the Exempla Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, CO.

Bonnie graduated from Wall High School, Wall, SD in 1976. In 1977 she moved to Gillette, WY where she resided until 2003. She returned to South Dakota and on July 9, 2004 she married Robert T. (Bob) Barr they made their home in Hill City, SD. Bonnie was a loving, caring, generous mother as well as the greatest wife anyone could ever ask for.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Robert T. Barr, Sr. of Hill City; sons, Robert T. Barr, Jr. of Rapid City, SD; Leonard A. Barr of Rapid City, Edward J.M. Barr of Hill City; brothers, Russell and Randy Goodsell of Gillette, WY; sisters, Kristy Goodsell of Hill City; Arnette Elcock of Sioux Falls, SD; father-in-law, Leonard J. Barr; mother-in-law, Rose E. Barr; brothers-in-law, James and John; sisters-in-law, Linda; Mary; Bonnie; Sherry; Pat; Dorothy; and one grandchild, Kai Ambrose Barr.

Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Tracy Park in Hill City with Pastor Tana Nichols officiating. Interment will follow at the Hill City Cemetery in Hill City.

A memorial has been established in Bonnie's name.
