Brent Timothy Beery

Brent Timothy “Tim” Beery, 78, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away after a year-long battle with cancer on Thursday, September 10, 2026, in Rapid City, SD.

Tim was born in San Diego, CA, to Richard H. Beery and Delphine N. Becht-Ulrickson Beery. He was raised in the San Diego area and graduated from Clairemont High School.

In the 1970’s he moved to Hot Springs, SD, where he worked as a custodian for the Hot Springs Elementary School for several years, then worked in food service for the Hot Springs Veterans Administration until his retirement.

Surviving is his daughter, Cherie Couch of Lakeside, CA; his brother, Greg (Barb) Beery of Hot Springs, SD; his sister, Cindy (Mark) Hughes of Williston, ND; and numerous nieces and great-nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Del Beery.
