IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bryan Fletcher
Scott
May 22, 1962 – January 15, 2020
Bryan Fletcher Scott, 57, died in his home in Hot Springs, South Dakota on January 15, 2020.
Bryan was born in Denver, Colorado on May 22, 1962. Bryan is survived by his parents, Fletcher and Carol Scott, his sons Joshua (Amanda) Scott and Brandon Scott, his sister Bridgette (Richard) Harnke and his granddaughter Addison Scott. Bryan is preceded in death by his wife Tamara Scott.
Bryan was a kind and gentle soul who would go out of his way to help others. Bryan would greet everyone he encountered with his one of a kind smile. In recent years, Bryan found he had a passion in caring for others. It began at the Black Hills Humane Society where Bryan worked for several years. Caring for the animals and assisting his coworkers brought Bryan great joy. Recently, he began working for Black Hills Special Services where he had the privilege of caring for the residents there. Bryan found such fulfillment in these roles and would seek any opportunity he could to help wherever it was needed.
Bryan was also a dedicated son, father, brother and, most precious to him, grandpa. Family was a priority to Bryan, which showed in his constant and unconditional love. His greatest treasure in life was his granddaughter, Addison. He adapted to the role of "grandpa" well with his keen ability to spoil her and show her how much he loved having her in his life. He was known by his family as someone who loved each of them dearly and would do anything he could to help. He was tender, caring and generous with all that he had to offer.
Bryan will be missed by his family and friends, but there is comfort in knowing he is once again reunited with his first love, Tammy.
A memorial service for Bryan will be held at McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs, SD on Saturday January 25, 2020 at 10:00 am with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Bryan's family would also like to invite everyone to join them for snacks, refreshments and the sharing of memories at the Hot Springs Wesleyan Church, 2046 Canton Ave., immediately following the service.
A memorial will be established at Black Hills Federal Credit Union for Save Them All Rescue Services, an organization which was very important to Bryan and run by his dear friend Michelle Brock.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to this memorial should you desire.
