Carl Zimiga was born July 1, 1954, in Pine Ridge, SD, to James and Grace (Hawkins) Zimiga. he grew up in Edgemont with his six brothers and sisters. Carl, 70, died at home on January 23, 2025.

He is survived by his two sons, David Zimiga, Justin Zimiga, one daughter Nevaeh Zimiga all of Edgemont; three granddaughters, Oriona Wright of Nobile, OK, Porshia Zimiga of Wall, SD, Wynter Zimiga of Edgemont, SD; two grandsons, Chevy Zimiga, Logan Zimiga all of Edgemont; three great grand children River, Rhett and Raylee all of Nobile, OK and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
