Carmon Lee Loberg, 79, from Rapid City, SD, passed away on March 15, 2015, at home in Rapid City.

He was born May 30, 1935, to Christian and Laura (Thorness) Loberg, in Marshall County, SD. Married Georgia Cole, April 28, 1956, moved to Rapid City, SD in May 1960, where Carmon began the truck driving career of 45 years. They moved to Buffalo Gap in 1972. Carmon and Georgia operated the Stockman's Bar in Buffalo Gap from 1980 to 1986. He drove for Black Hills Packing for 14 years, then East-West Motor Express, as an owner-operator until 2007. He enjoyed watching his grandson Chance compete in rodeos, his granddaughter Laura's silliness and laughter, he also enjoyed Katie and Weston, his great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia Loberg of Rapid City, SD; daughters, Kim (Jerry) Dumire, of Hermosa, SD; Penni (Tom) Miller, of Rozet, WY; brothers, Roger (Karen) Loberg of MN, David (Carole) Loberg of WI, Gene (Mary) Loberg of MN, Larry Loberg of MN, Dennis Loberg of CA, Brian Loberg of SD, Bobby (Beverly) Loberg of IA; sisters, Donna Resler of MN, Linda (Mike) Lindauer of IN; grandson, Chance Dumire; granddaughter, Laura (Ryan) Bowar; two great grandchildren, Katherine and Weston Bowar; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death are Carmon's parents, 3 brothers and 1 granddaughter.

Memorial services will be held at Chamberlain-McColley's Funeral Home, in Hot Springs, SD, Saturday, March 21, 2015, at 2:00 pm, Pastor Clint Walker will be officiating. Private family committal service will be held.
