Chad Kelly Allen was born in Hot Springs, SD on October 12, 1972. He died on his 52nd birthday on October 12, 2024 in Fairburn, SD.

Chad lived life with laughter, love and kindness. He had a very strong work ethic and worked as a cook for many years. He played guitar, loved connecting through music with friends and going to Grateful Dead shows. He was a lifelong Steelers fan—a gift he passed on to his children, Carson and Cassidy. Most of all, he loved spending time on the Allen Ranch – the land of his heart, soul and ancestry.

Chad had many friends and was a friend to all. In the past year he found much happiness when he married Koshara, the love of his life. He will be missed. Be at peace dear Chad.

He is survived by his spouse, Koshara Allen and their shared children Josianna, David, Libby and Tyson, son Carson Allen, daughter Cassidy Allen, grandson Amari Hayes Allen Kemp, father Joe (DeAnn) Allen, mother Kathleen (Penny Costello) Allen, brother Shawn Allen, nephews Max, Brody and Leo Allen, sister Jessica Allen, niece Kiara (Tyrel) Allen-Clark, great niece Aspyn Jane Allen-Clark, sister Danyel (Phil) Seevers, nieces Karlee and Abbey, nephew Ryan Seevers and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Christian Funeral Vigil will be held 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 21, 2024, at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Hot Springs, SD.

Christian Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m,, Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Hot Springs, SD with Christian Funeral Committal following at Evergreen Cemetery in Hot Springs, SD.
