Charles Martin 'Chuck' Braunersrither, 76, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away November 15, 2009, at the VA Black Hills Health Care System in Hot Springs.

Charles was born April 1st, 1933. He was the eldest child of Anne Maple and Martin Braunersrither. He was brother to Opal, Dorothy, Donald, Dick, Colleen, Jim and Betty Ann. He married Joan Marchant on April 25th, 1957. Together they had eight children, Cheryl, Lana, Todd, Annette, Chad, Dale, Gail and Jill. He had 19 grandchildren; Jessica, Shawn, Laura, Jennifer, Krista, Jacob, Mickayla, Haylee, Rachel, Madi, Matthew, Lauren, Hannah, Elise, Sophia, Emily, Ben, Lucas and Sam. He has two great grandchildren, Halle and Camdyn. He is survived by his current wife, Diane Bruce. If you knew Chuck, you knew he loved his family.

Chuck loved his life and friends in Hot Springs. He looked forward to spending time at the Senior Center everyday playing games and socializing.

He is a member of the Bethesda Lutheran Church in Hot Springs. He enjoyed his associations there very much.
We all loved him and will miss him until we see him again.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 20, 2009, at the Bethesda Lutheran Church in Hot Springs with Pastor Jake Jacobson officiating.

Committal Services will be held 2:30 p.m., Friday, November 20, 2009, at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD. Military Honors will be provided by the South Dakota National Guard and the Sturgis Veterans Honor Guards.
