Obituary

Charles John (Chuck) Dufault, age 62, of Hot Springs, SD, died October 5, 2006 in his home in Hot Springs, SD.

Chuck was born in Crookston, MN on December 14, 1943 to John and Myrtle (Audette) Dufault. He was raised on the farm outside of Gentilly, MN with his two brothers, Steven (Carol) Dufault and Virgil (Pam) Dufault of Crookston, MN.

After graduating from the Crookston Agricultural School (AC) in 1962, Chuck served in the National Guard and later began work in the Crookston area. He married Dori Delage, the love of his life, September 4, 1965. The couple lived in the Crookston area for a number of years before moving to Wahpeton, ND and later to Hot Springs, SD. A long time employee of CENEX, Chuck retired in 2003 and started a handyman service. No matter where he lived or worked, he was known for his hard work and generous spirit. He will be greatly missed by his family and numerous friends.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Dori; their children, Charlene (Robin) Berke of Mitchell, SD; Patrick Dufault of Fergus Falls, MN; Christine (Wade) Bischoff of Wahpeton, ND; David (Angie Krabbenhoft) Dufault of Moorhead, MN; grandchildren, Zachary, Zara, Aaron, Randa, Mya and Aiden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Myrtle Dufault.

Memorial services will be held 7:00 pm, Sunday, October 8, 2006 at McColley's Chapel of the Hills with Father Peter Kovarik officiating.

A visitation for family and friends will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Gentilly, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Gentilly, MN with Father Robert Schreiner and Deacon Dennis Bivens officiating. Interment will be held at St. Peter's Cemetery in Gentilly, MN.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs, SD and Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home in Crookston, MN. Written
