Obituary
Charles Theodore Kelsey, Jr., age 88, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away May 16, 2013, at the Custer Regional Senior Care in Custer, SD.
Charles was born May 9, 1925, at Glady, WV, to Charles T. Kelsey, Sr. and Nola (Bennett) Kelsey.
He proudly served his Country in the United States Navy.
Survivors include his sons, Charles Kelsey, III. of Hot Springs; Marvin (Peg) Kelsey of Rapid City, SD; Aaron Kelsey of Anchorage, AK; Adam (Yun Lui) Kelsey of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Melissa (Jonathan) O'Brien of Phoenix, AZ; brothers, Ronald (Lana) Kelsey of Fredericksburg , VA; Jarel (Rhonda) Kelsey of Fredericksburg, VA; Roger (JoAnn) Kelsey of Latrobe, PA; Kenneth (Diane) Kelsey, DDS, of Las Vegas, NV; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Marla Ooton; two sisters, Doris Kaminski and Avonelle Anderson, and one brother, Richard Kelsey.
Committal services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 25, 2013, at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD, with Rev. Morris Nelson officiating
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Charles' name to benefit the Hot Springs Senior Center.
