Charles D. 'Sonny' Holloway, 59, of Custer, SD died Saturday, December 8, 2007 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD after a lengthy illness.

"Sonny was born October 4, 1948 in Excelsior Springs, MO to Charles D. and Marjorie J. (Sodders) Holloway. He enjoyed his motorcycles and loved ridding with his friends. Sonny also loved to pluck on his guitars and visit with his special friends and will be greatly missed by all who know him.

Survivors include his loving wife, Karen of Custer; four sons, Kevin Holloway of MO; Terry (Belinda) Holloway of MO; Christopher Holloway of Custer; Tyrell Holloway of Custer, one brother, Sam (Diane) Holloway of St. Joseph, MO; two sisters, Nora (Ron) Simpson of Levelland, TX; Kathy Goodrich of Richmond, MO; four grandchildren and loyal friend, Lyle Ness.

Sonny is preceded in death by his parents, son, Gary and grandmother, Myrtle.
