Clarice Agnes Holman was born February 13, 1935, in Grenville, SD, the fourth child of Leo and Clara Burchardt. She passed away at her home on September 10, 2011. She was raised on a farm near Waubay, SD and attended Waubay schools.

Clarice was united in marriage to Louis Holman in 1956 and raised six children, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Clarice was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved attending church, reading, quilting, cooking, baking, and doing crossword puzzles.

Surviving family members include her husband, children and spouses, Lee and Kathy Holman of Roseville, CA; Luke and Donna Holman of Billings, MT; Lisa and Wade Hubbard of Pierre; Lori Holman of Cheyenne, WY; Leslie Holman of Spearfish; Lynne Holman of Cheyenne and all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Clarice was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Bernice Engelhart.

Wake and rosary service will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2011, at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Hot Springs.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 17, 2011, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Thomas Tierney officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
