Connilesha 'Shea' Lyn Hughes, 55, of Edgemont, SD, passed away August 23, 2021, in Rapid City, SD.

Connilesha was born December 26, 1965, in Marietta, GA, to Oliver and Carolyn (Mills) Cowart.

Shea's passions were enjoying motorcycle rides through the Black Hills and living in the community of Edgemont.

Shea is survived by her husband, David of Edgemont; mother, Carolyn Cowart; sons, Domanic James Copeland; Dillon Knight Beck; Christopher O'Dell Ray (Samantha); Brandon Copeland; Timothy Copeland; Adam Copeland; daughters, Amber Michelle Stricklin; Jasmine Skye Stricklin; brother, Rolanson Cowart (Tammy) ; sisters, Caressa Cowart Dobbs (Steve); Cathaleena Cowart Cochran (Randy); 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Connilesha's life will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 30, 2021, at Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs, SD.
