IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Daniel Todd
Peterson
November 2, 1963 – July 8, 2021
Daniel Todd Peterson, 57, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away July 8, 2021, at his residence in Hot Springs, SD.
Daniel was born November 2, 1963, in Minneapolis, MN, to Ronald and Maryann (Lenhart) Peterson.
Daniel proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp until his honorable discharge in 1986.
Dan enjoyed many things but most of all enjoyed working with his fellow veterans. His dedication and drive to do just this, in true Marine fashion, is what led him working for the veterans at the VA. Among working for the Veterans, he had interests that were broad and intriguing. Such as his jewelry making, wood working, leather working, camping, fishing, and star gazing.
With all he enjoyed doing his first love was his time with family and friends. Dan could hold a conversation with anyone about anything and was always able to relate to any situation that was raised. If a need came up, Dan was the first person to lend whatever hand he could to help you out, not charity, just a friend helping a friend.
It goes without saying that Dan Peterson was and will be remembered as a good man, hard at times, but still a good-hearted caring man and a Marine. Dan Peterson will always be with us in sprit and will always be loved. May he rest in peace.
Daniel is survived by two brothers, Randy; Christopher; sister Anne Marie; beloved by his wife, Tana; three sons, Nathan; Niklas;, Zachary; daughter, Amanda; six grandchildren; Aunt Marge and Uncle Tom. To Dan family was everything and was the strongest bond of all.
