Obituary

David 'Dave' Lawrence Beeman, 46, of Hot Springs, SD died July 8, 2007 as the result of a wild fire.

Dave was born July 1, 1961 in Plainville, KS to Billy and Marilyn Beeman. On June 6, 1985 he married Janice Brunner and they lived in Hot Springs all the years of their marriage. Dave loved spending time with his family and friends. He also loved motorcycling in the Black Hills and surrounding area as well as keeping busy. He was generous with his laughter and time and rarely took a break from his numerous projects. However, he still had time to visit, joke, tease or express concern if he knew someone was struggling.

Dave enjoyed camping and fishing with his family at Legion Lake during the rare times he did take a break. He was an animal lover and whenever possible had his faithful dog "Brat" by his side.

Dave was a member of the Harmony Lodge #110 and held numerous offices in the organization over the years.

Those who were blessed to have shared Dave's life include is wife, Janice of Hot Springs; son, Michael (Tracy) Beeman of San Jose, CA; daughters, Holly (Tanner) Peterson of Rapid City, SD; Dawn Headman of Hot Springs; parents, Billy and Marilyn Beeman of Hot Springs; brothers, John (Alicia) Beeman of San Antonio, TX; Daniel (Karen) Beeman of Houston, TX; sister, Rebekah (Troy) Quicke of Edgemont, SD and seven grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held 4:00 p.m., Thursday, July 12, 2007 at the Holiday Inn Express-Boulder Falls Convention Center in Hot Springs with Pastor Morris Nelson officiating.
