David R. Christopherson, of Custer, SD, lost his battle with ALS at 68.  One good thing about ALS, it gave me time to write my own obit.  Born November 14, 1952, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN, to Robert and Ardeth Christopherson who later divorced.

I married my loving wife of 46 years, Nancy Moyer.  We had a beautiful daughter, Lacey, and moved to a farmstead in Zumbrota, MN, where we resided for 37 years.   I worked as a locksmith at St. Mary's Hospital until 2014, retired after 33 years and moved to the Black Hills of SD.

I also raised, trained and rode quarter horses, my passion for 45 years.

I leave behind my beautiful wife, Nancy of Custer, SD; wonderful daughter and son-in-law, Lacey and John Hart of Red Wing, MN; 3 talented and beautiful granddaughters, Shelby; Clara and Kate; my dad and step-mom, Robert and Margaret Christopherson of Rochester, MN; 2 brothers, Stewart and Shelly Christopherson of Rochester, MN; Marty and Julie Christopherson of Rochester, MN ; many cousins; nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by the best mom in the world, Ardeth Smith and a good brother, Blake.

Thanks to my family and wonderful friends I had a good life.  To all my family and friends you are perfection and I love you all.

I request no memorials or services and my ashes to be scattered in our beautiful Black Hills.
