David John Muhm of Hot Springs died Saturday, November 17, 2007 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. He was born April 26, 1934 at Oelrichs to Gordon and Martha (Kneebone) Muhm.

He was a lifelong rancher southwest of Oelrichs. On September 4, 1955 he married Phyllis Hatch. They had three children, Randall, Laura and Nancy. In 1983 they moved to Hot Springs,

He enjoyed family get togethers, playing music and he loved his saddle horses and working his draft teams.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis of Hot Springs; one son, Randall (Darlene) Muhm of Utica, NE; two daughters, Laura (Craig) DeBoer of Oral, SD; Nancy (Terry) Cates of Hot Springs, SD; nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Arlene Hatch; Judy Muhm; two brothers, Charles Muhm and Skip Muhm.

David was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Margaret Kaiser; Elsie Helmer,
and one grandson, Keith David DeBoer.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Hot Springs.
