Lyle 'Deane' Cline, 91, of Custer, SD, passed away November 23, 2021, at Fountain Springs Healthcare in Rapid City, SD.

Deane, as he was known most of his life, was born May 1, 1930, to Everett Cline and Bessie Brinley, in Glendive, MT. He grew up in Wilbaux, MT and attended school in Wilbaux County. Deane had several siblings, Paul, Roland, Walter, Arlene and Dorothy. He was also married four times to whom one of which was twice, and Alice Hagenlock was a longtime spouse of thirty plus years. Deane had four sons, Robert, Ronald, Harry and Thomas, with four grandchildren, Veronica, Hugh, Ashley and Matthew.

Deane had accomplished a lot in his time here on earth, ranging from Lumber Mill, National Grassland/Forest Service, Certified Firefighter and EMT, Master Electrician, Master Mechanic, Business Owner, Farmer Rancher with a Cline Family Cattle Brand around 1970's, Logging Truck Driver, Lineman, animal and plant lover, although he had never graduated from High School. Deane also served in the Korean War from March 7, 1949 until November 3, 1952, receiving numerous medals to include: Army of Occupation-Japan, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, 1 Service Star, United Nations Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and an Honorable Discharge. He served as Sergeant 1st Class Air Man, and was also a flight mechanic. He wore many hats and did many things. He will be forever remembered as a loving, goodhearted man, Father, Grandfather, Patriot and friend. Rest In Peace and Thank You for your Service.

Deane is survived by his spouse, Alice Hagenlock; sons, Harry Cline; Tommy Cline; Bob Cline; grandchildren, Ashley; Veronica; Matthew and Hugh.

Deane is predeceased by his parents and his son, Ronald Cline.

Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Custer, SD.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Custer, SD.

Committal services will be held 2:30 p.m., at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
