Denise Lea Dean was born December 31, 1935, to Clyde and Grace (Paris) Graham in an old shack 6 miles North of Pringle, SD.

At 18 years of age, she married the handsome Donald James Dean.  They lived, worked and started a family in the area alongside many relatives from both sides.

Denise loved Jehovah God, her family and people.  She was a human workhorse having as many as three jobs a day for years.

Denise Lea was 88 years old when she took her last breath surrounded by family.

Denise was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald James Dean.

So happy to have shared her life are her children, son, Johnny James Dean (Mary) of Upton, WY; daughters, Cora Lea Atkinson (Kolby) of Piedmont, SD; Diana Lynn Ogilvie (Jack) of Pringle, SD; grandchildren, Jesse; Jamie; Amber; Lacie; Lindsay; Candace; Corissa; great grandchildren, Kaegan; Jolin; Otto; Oly; Izabella; Josie; Presley; Markus; Declan; Aurora; Waylan; Marlea; Wyatt; Abigail and Penelope, she's on the way.

Jehovah Witnesses are delivering a 1:00 p.m., memorial talk on June 22, 2024, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 12368 US Highway 16A, Custer, SD 57730.

The graveside rites will follow at the Pringle Cemetery in Pringle, SD and a luncheon will be served at the Pringle Community Center.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Custer, SD.
