It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Derald Bledsoe, 65, of Oral, SD.  On August 21, 2024, while doing what he loved, riding on his Harley motorcycle an accident occurred and he gained his angel wings.

Derald was born January 8, 1959 in Hot Springs, SD to Roy and Jacky Bledsoe. He grew up in Oral and settled in Hot Springs after marrying Valerie Kienitz. This union produced a son and daughter, however the marriage didn't last. In 1999 Derald married Annette Stiefvater and they moved to their home in Oral.

Derald always had a smile and a helping hand for any friend in need. People knew if they called him, he would drop everything to help. He was an avid animal lover and kept many four-legged friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Annette, his father Roy, and both sets of grandparents. He is survived by his mother Jacky, his son Paul, his daughter Kristi (Matthew) Moore, sisters Rolene (Ken) Hoegerl, Roiann (Charles) Garrett, and brother Russell (Mary) Bledsoe.

Graveside services will be held at the Fairview Cemetery in Oral, SD,  Friday August 30, 2024 at 130pm for all friends and family who would like to attend.
