DeVonne R. (Condon) Snow, 87, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away on October 15,  2024, at Seven Sisters Living Center. Born on July 1, 1937, in Friend, NE, to Raymond and Helen (Schaefer) Condon, DeVonne's life was marked by her deep love for music and her unwavering dedication to her family and community.

DeVonne graduated from Fairmont High School in 1955 and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Music Education and a Master of Science in Humanities from Chadron State College. She passionately shared her love of music as a teacher in Hill City and Hot Springs, inspiring countless students through her vibrant lessons and private instruction.

In a beautiful celebration of love and music, DeVonne married Jim Snow on July 31, 1956, in Boulder, CO. Together, they welcomed two children, Shannon and James 'Patrick,' and built a life filled with laughter and harmony.

DeVonne was an active member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, the Eastern Star, PEO, and the Travelers Club. She enriched the lives of many, often playing the organ at church services, weddings, and funerals, leaving an indelible mark on her community. Her infectious smile, spectacular piano playing, and joyful spirit brought light to those around her.

DeVonne is survived by her daughter, Shannon (Dave Owen) Livesay of Hot Springs, SD; son, James 'Patrick' (Lita Muir) Snow of Pierre, SD; brother, Virgal Condon; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim, and her parents.

Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 26, 2024, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Hot Springs, SD.
