Diane (Godin) Hinkley was born in Portland, ME, to Leo and Evelyn Godin on July 7, 1951 and passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025.  Diane had a large family with a total of ten brothers and sisters, she loved each and every one of them.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Alex) Christie; two stepdaughters, Nancy (Ron) Allen; Stacy (Darren) Eustis; fifteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends all of which were family to her.

Diane is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Hinkley; parents, Evelyn and Robert Small and Leo and Mary Godin; sisters, Bonnie Tajonera; MaryAnn Cobb; brother, Bern Tajonera and her favorite person, her grandmother, Florida Pelchat.

Diane lived her life to the fullest and no matter what life threw at her, she handled it with grace and a smile.  Shew as loved by so many friends and family and will be missed by all.  Her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Sydney; Ish; Alec; Brianna; Ian; Abrianne; Riley; Kayla; Autumn; Samir; Ben; Kayla; Aaron; Krissy; CJ; Kade; Elizabeth; Scotlynn; Berlyn; Kinyan; Sofia; Tobias; Arthur; Aydin; Chloe; Henry and the added bonus of knowing another is on the way.

Diane believed that it doesn't matter where you go in life, what you do or how much you have…..it's who you have beside you.  She was the best mama.
