Obituary
Diane Lee Trithart, age 64, passed away May 4, 2012, at her home near Custer, SD.
After growing up in Punxsutawney, PA, Diane attended Grove City College where she met the man she would marry, Ron. Over the course of her life, she had three separate careers: first, as a mother raising one child; second, as a businesswoman with Consumer Credit Counseling Service, where she rose to the level of CEO; and finally, as a small business owner, where she ran her own bed and breakfast.
Diane took great pride in her abilities as a hostess. Guests praised her skills in the kitchen and her attention to every detail. She was blessed with a positive outlook, no matter the circumstances, and even as she struggled the last few years with ALS.
Diane is survived by her son, Tim Trithart, and his wife, Kristina Hendrickson, of Rapid City, SD, two grandchildren, Ella Blue and Sawyer Gray, and her significant other, Tim Howell.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at the Custer Lutheran Fellowship with Pastor Tom Opoien and Pastor Kent Narum officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to recommend that memorials in Diane's name be sent to the Custer Lutheran Fellowship or Regional Health Hospice.
