Dianna Carrol Mullen died in her home, surrounded by love on June 21, 2024.

She was born on June 19, 1948 to the late Robert Bailey and Dorothy Lawson Bailey. Dianna was born at her grandparents home in Illinois and delivered by her grandma Lawson and her Aunt Opal. She was raised by Carl Casner Junior, whom she lovingly called daddy and her mother Dorothy Casner.

On June 17, 1967, Dianna married Joe Mullen and they had 57 years of love and adventures. They raised their children in Ambia, IN. In 1996, they moved to Custer, South Dakota where they have spent the last twenty eight years enjoying the many facets of the Black Hills.

Dianna was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, Joe and Martha Bailey, Bransford and Georgia Lawson, Carl (Ruth) Casner Sr, Mother-in-law, Esther (Max) Munson, Father-in-law, Joe Mullen, a baby brother, Darrell Bailey and sister Vanda Graves.

Dianna is survived by her husband, Joe Mullen of Custer, SD, two children, Amanda (Rhett) Haynes of Indianapolis, IN, Shane Mullen of Custer, SD, a sister Gayla Comstock of Hoopeston, IL, brother Marty (Tess) Casner of Rossville, IL, Brother-in-law Jim (Julia) Mullen of Picayune Mississippi, four grandchildren, Dane and Audrey Haynes of Indianapolis, Dylan (Lexi) Mullen of Custer, SD and Dusty (Rylee) Mullen of Hot Springs, SD, one great grandson, Macen Mullen and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Custer Lutheran Fellowship Church in Custer, SD.
