Dixie Neiffer, 64, of Custer, SD, passed away June 6, 2025, at Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Dixie was born September 20, 1960, in Hot Springs, SD. She grew up in Fairburn, SD. Her fondest childhood memories were at her grandparents' ranch.

She went to high school in Custer, where she met her husband, Bob. Dixie married Bob October 18, 1980, in Custer, where they lived together for 44 years.

In 1981, they had their first child Wendy, followed by Tommy in 1984, and Sammi in 1990. They raised their kids in Custer. Her family was very beloved and important to her. Dixie had a degree in Food and Nutrition and cooked professionally. It was one of her passions. She also loved plants, sewing, traveling, and family dinners.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, and two grandchildren.

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend is survived by her lifelong love Bob; children Wendy (Ryan, Lucas, and Alia); Tommy (Jaci, Pheonix and Lizzie); Sammi (Pam, Finn, Grace); sisters Donna, Lucy, Laura, and brother Vance; and her many friends.

May she rest in peace.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 14th, 20254 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Custer, South Dakota.

Memorial may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
