Dolores Mower, age 78, passed away Sunday, September, 13, 2009 at her residence in Hot Springs, SD.

Dolores was born October 10, 1930 in Detroit, MI to Stanley and Anna (Cucharski) Sakowski. On April 15, 1961 she married James Mower in Ann Arbor, MI. They lived on the ranch in the Minnekahta Valley where Dolores helped Jim with all the necessary duties and chores of ranch life.

Dolores is survived by her husband, James Mower of Hot Springs; one son, Joseph Mower of Hot Springs; brother, Raymond Sakowski of La Mesa, CA; sisters, Delphine Werner of Ann Arbor, MI; Mary Sakowski ; Irene Vanderwater; Barbara Sakowski; and Carol Sakowski all of Mt. Clemons, MI; and numerous grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, John.

Visitation will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 18, 2009 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Hot Springs.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 19, 2009, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Peter Kovarik and Father Thomas Tierney officiating.

Committal services will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Hot Springs.
