Don Duarte, 83, passed away November 11, 2018, at his home in Hot Springs, SD.

Don was born April 10, 1935, in Fort Dodge, IA, to Frederick and Blanche (Welter) Falb. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War from 1954 until his honorable discharge in 1957. Don was a professional farrier for 22 years and enjoyed working with horses and other animals. He married the love of his life Beverly Ann (Martin) Duarte on October 19, 1988. Don hobbies included working with metal and gardening.

Don is survived by his wife, Beverly, of Hot Springs.

Don was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Stephen.

A Celebration of Don's life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs.
