Donald Edward Bockman, age 81, of Hot Springs, SD died November 22, 2006 at the VA Medical Center in Hot Springs, SD.

Don proudly served in the United States Army from October 1944 to November 1946.

Don is survived by his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Bockman of Hot Springs, SD; two sons, Bill (JoLynne) Bockman of Fairmont, MN; Steven (Margaret) Bockman of Greybull, WY; three daughters, Tammy (Greg) Trout of Casper, WY; Lori (Mark) Peloquin of Casper, WY; Jill (Allen) Siers of Loveland, CO; brother, Harold (Carol) Bockman of Mobridge, SD; sister, Phyllis (Wayne) Percy of Rapid City, SD and nine grandchildren.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to services on Monday, November 27, 2006.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Monday, November 27, 2006 at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs, SD with Pastor Douglas Free officiating.

Interment will be held 2:30 pm, Monday, November 27, 2006 at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD with military honors provided by the Sturgis Honor Guard.
