Obituary
Donald Gordon Nelson, 80, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away on May 8, 2013, at the VA Medical Center in Hot Springs.
Donald was born September 19, 1932, in Redwood Falls, MN, to Anton and Emma (Olson) Nelson. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1953 until his honorable discharge in 1955.
Donald is survived by his special friend, Verta Krcil of Hot Springs, and sister, Lila Johnson of Benson, MN.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2013, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Hot Springs, SD, with Fr. Tim Hoag officiating.
Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2013, at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs. Written Condolences may be made at www.mccolleyschapels.com.
