Doris Tweden, 77, of Custer, SD, passed away January 14, 2024 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers.

Doris was born in Sioux City, Iowa on December 8, 1946, to Albert and Jane (Garretson) Tweden.

Doris was an LPN that worked in nursing homes in various states.  The majority of her nursing career was at the State Hospital working with the mentally and physically handicapped.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Kenneth Kewley.

She is survived by her children; sons, Mike (Cheryl) Kewley of Kuna, ID; Albert (Blayke) Gosselin of Piedmont, SD; daughters, Melissa (Anthony) Rush of Custer, SD and Anna (Thad) Delaney of Custer, SD as well as 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
