Dorothy Lee Hirtle, 77, of Custer, SD, passed away November 28, 2019, at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Dorothy was born March 1, 1942, in Deadwood, SD, to Bertram and Margaret Davis.

Dorothy was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a kind and caring friend.  She touched and positively influenced many lives.  She taught us much, enjoyed life and will be missed by all.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Rich (Sandy) Hirtle; daughters, Pegi (Mike) Bostick; Connie (David Hollingsworth) Jordan; grandson, Will Jordan; sisters, Viola Crane; Darlene Tanzo; brother, Leonard Davis; brother in law, Bruce (Cinda) Schamber; granddaughters, Stephanie (Keith) Yaich; Melanie (Joey) Bishop; grandson, Richy (Hannah) Hirtle; great granddaughters, Aimee Yaich; Kylee Yaich; Saige Bishop; Kinzlee Yaich; great grandsons, Hudson Bishop; Tytus Hirtle; Tayden Hirtle; Teryk Hirtle; Hendrick Bishop; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceasing Dorothy was her loving husband, Richard S. Hirtle.

Per Dorothy's request no services will be held.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Custer, SD.
