Dorothy M. Newkirk, 94, of Custer, SD, passed away on May 9, 2015, at the Custer Regional Senior Care Center, in Custer.
Dorothy was born on June 5, 1920, to John and Martha (Schmidt) Peabody in Helena, MT.
She is survived by her son, Dan (Shirley) Lake of Custer, SD; step children, Timothy Newkirk of CA; Barbara Schelp of Corvallis, OR; brother, George Peabody of Keller, WA; 2 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
No services will be held at this time.
