Dorothy Mae Reynolds, 86, passed away April 15, 2007 at her home in Edgemont, SD.

Dorothy was born January 3, 1921 to Harry and Dorothy (Berg) Freeburg at Walnut Grove, MN. She attended country school in Murray County and graduated from Mankato School of Beauty Culture in Mankato, MN. Dorothy was employed in salons in Tracy and Slayton, MN.

On March 31, 1944 Dorothy was married to Harvey Reynolds of Balaton, MN in Slayton, MN. They farmed near Balaton until 1946, when they moved to Verdi, MN where they were engaged in a livestock trucking business as well as farming. In 1960 they moved near Hendricks, MN and farmed. In 1976 they moved back to Verdi and continued farming. After retiring in 1980, the couple moved to the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Harvey of Edgemont, SD; her children, Darlene (LeRoy) Anderson of Belle Plaine, MN; David Reynolds of Pringle, SD; Dennis Reynolds of Edgemont, SD; Diane (Steve) Hammer of Elkton, SD; one brother; two sisters; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday April 23, 2007 at the United Methodist Church in Verdi, MN with Pastor Del Coleman officiating.

Interment will take place at the Memorial Hill Cemetery in Lake Benton, MN.
