Douglas Delane Pemrick, age 64, of Custer, SD, passed away on September 1, 2018, at his home in Custer.

Douglas was born on January 15, 1954, in Salina, KS to Roman and Marlys (Gerlach) Pemrick. While proudly serving in the United States Army he earned his G.E.D. and was honorably discharged in 1974. He attended Lake Area Vo-Tech for one year and spent two years at Ohio Institute of Technology attaining a diploma for advanced electronics and computer technology. He enjoyed employment in these fields and in carpentry until his health deterred him from working.

Douglas is survived by his daughter, Tara Pemrick of Wentworth, SD; mother, Marlys Pemrick of Mitchell, SD; brother, Martin (Marilyn) Pemrick of Mitchell, SD; sister, Robin Pemrick of Custer, SD; grandchildren, a great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.

Douglas is preceded in death by his father, Roman Pemrick.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 14, 2018, at Will Funeral Chapel in Mitchell, SD, with burial at the Veterans Cemetery.  Douglas' honored pallbearers are: Ashton Hanish, Triston McKay, Sam McKay, Amy Pemrick, Krista Pemrick, Aaron Pemrick, and Kayla Pemrick.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Custer.
