Duane Peck, 83, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away August 23, 2024.   Duane was born in Hot Springs,SD on May 10, 1941,  to Floyd Peck and Emma (Gossel) Peck.  He enjoyed his time growing up in Buffalo Gap and running around with his sister, Joyce Hand.  He loved to share stories of the times they had.   Duane graduated from Hot Springs High School, then joined the U.S. Navy where he honorably served in Vietnam until his honorable discharge.  He later went to work for Frito Lay where he worked his way up to district manager.

He married Zabie (Zimiga) Pudwill in March of 1963 and to this union one son and two daughters were born, Conie DeHaai, Donnie Peck and Kristy Green.  Dad enjoyed camping and fishing, he enjoyed joking around with everyone he met.   Duane was a very kind and caring man.    We who knew him and loved him will truly miss him.
