Edsel Wayne Dyslin, age 71, of Custer, SD, passed away June 24, 2012, at the Michael J. Fitzmaurice State Veterans Home in Hot Springs, SD.
Edsel was born October 7, 1940, in Richland, SD, to Harvey and Thelma (Daniels) Dyslin and worked as an electronic engineer in the aircraft industry. He served in the United States Navy from February 20, 1959, until his honorable discharge on April 22, 1963.
Edsel is survived by his wife, Beverly of Custer; sons, Chuck Dyslin of Phoenix, AZ; Daniel Dyslin of North Myrtle Beach, NC; daughters, Cindy (Steve) Dunnum of Mesa, AZ; Jennifer (Dave) Krier of Cedarburg, WI; sister, Gwen Haberer of Sioux City, IA; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Pete; and two brothers, Eldene and Glenwood.
Out of respect for Edsel's wishes, no memorial services will be held.
