Obituary
Edward Phillip Armstrong, Sr. age 73, of Custer, SD passed away June 6, 2008 at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Edward is survived by his wife, Catherine of Custer; four sons, Edward Phillip Armstrong, Jr. of Alliance, NE; Joseph Donald Armstrong of Rochester, MN; Richard Paul Armstrong of Palo Verde, CA; Robert Patrick Armstrong of Omaha, AR; one daughter, Karen Parsons of Rapid City, SD; two sisters, Rose Ann Zandol of Santa Clara, CA; Theresa Francois of San Marcos, CA; numerous grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 9, 2008 at St John's Catholic Church in Custer with Father Peter Kovarik officiating.
Interment will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Custer. Written condolences can be made at www.mccolleyschapels.com.
