Ella Edith Goldammer passed away on March 26, 2025, at age 96.  She was born November 29, 1928, in Mitchell, SD.  Her parents were Frank and Gertie (Hillerns) Gocken.  She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Mitchell.  She received her education in Mitchell area schools.

On September 5, 1948, she married Ervin Goldammer at Zion Lutheran Church in Mitchell. They were parents of one son, Reverend Gordon Goldammer.  She and Ervin farmed northwest of Mitchell.  After retiring from farming they moved to Custer, SD, to be nearer their son.  They were members of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Custer and the Custer Senior Center.

Visitation will be held 9:30 a.m., Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Custer, SD.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., followed by committal services at Custer Cemetery in Custer, SD.
